AFOCER is the ideal meeting place for lovers of photography. With us it is possible to take part in various educational activities, teaching and social events of the Spanish photographic group with most international recognition.
In the diary of our web site – whiuch is regularly updated - all the events and activities which we organise are listed.
Between Cerdanyola and Ripollet, as well as our collective social spaces, our members have available for their personal use chemical laboratories (dark rooms), a studio and an area for finishing / mounting work. We will soon have an area available for digital photography.
To exhibit your work, we have available spaces of various sizes. It is here where we work together with groups from many countries to exchange exhibitions and participate in competitions.
Our members, as well as participating for free in all of the activities which we organise, don’t have to pay for the right to participate in the biennial AQUEDUCTE, and recieve every edition of the commemorative book free of charge.
Our members may attend any of the Introduction to Photography Courses and specialisation workshops free of charge.
To inform members of our activities, an informative bulletin is released which – as well as being posted on our web site, we send by mail to all of our associates.
Our members have the unique opportunity of participating in our Social Competitions - which are of an educatinal nature – and in the “Pere Viltró” competition, that in it’s 3 catagories – black & white, colour and transparancies is made up of 30 convocatoriums ever year.
All of this in a friendly atmosphere with a sense of camraderie.
The current annual membership fee is 49 € - which if not payed at the start of the year can be payed by the trimester – and a one-off initial membership fee of the amount equivalent to a years membership fee.
